Macarthur WFP Upgrade
Macarthur WFP Upgrade
The Macarthur Water Filtration Plant was commissioned in 1995 and supplies drinking water to about 290,000 people in south-west Sydney.
An upgrade was required to ensure the plant meets current Australian Drinking Water Guidelines during poor raw water conditions.
The upgrade included the installation of two (2) new out-of-specification water storage tanks (each with a 10ML capacity), associated piping, water quality monitoring instruments, upgraded chemical dosing equipment, and a filter-to-waste arrangement.
Prospect Solutions was engaged by Trility as the Principal Engineer and provided the following:
- Detailed Engineering Design for Earthworks, Concrete and Steelwork
- 3D Laser Scanning & Point Cloud Model
- Engineering Drawings, Fabrication Drawings and Piping Isometrics
- Specifications & Site Construction Support.
